Surrounded by beautiful oak trees and a large front lawn, our historic campus has carved out its own niche in downtown Raleigh. We are just a short walk from the state capitol, museums, music halls, restaurants, theaters and nightlife. Students can observe the state legislature in session, dine downtown in popular cafés, attend concerts at the Raleigh Amphitheatre and enjoy live theatre at the REP and NCSU without ever needing a car.

From the SOUTH on Interstate 95:Take I-40 West exit (Exit 81) at Benson off I-95. Follow directions below from EAST on I-40.
From the NORTH on Interstate 85:Exit off I-85 taking Highway 50 South. Take 50 South (Creedmoor Road) into Raleigh. Turn left onto Glenwood Avenue. Turn left onto Peace Street. Proceed through three lights, and William Peace University is on the left.
From the SOUTH on Interstate 85:Follow I-85 to I-40 East in Greensboro. Continue on I-85 South/I-40 East. Exit right onto I-40 East in Greensboro. Follow directions below from WEST on I-40.
From the EAST on US Hwy 70:Follow 70 to I-40 West. Take I-40 West to Raleigh Exit at Person Street/Hammond Road (Exit 299). Turn left, and follow Person Street through downtown Raleigh. Turn left onto Peace Street (Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on corner). Pass through one traffic signal and William Peace University is on the right.
From the WEST on US Hwy 70:Take 70 into Raleigh (Hwy 70 becomes Glenwood Avenue). Turn left onto Peace Street at light. Pass through three traffic lights, and William Peace University is on the left.

Turn right at the top of Glenwood Avenue exit onto Glenwood Avenue. Follow Glenwood to the intersection of Glenwood and Peace, and then turn left onto Peace Street. Pass three traffic lights, and William Peace University is on the left.
From the WEST on Interstate 40:Take Wade Avenue exit (Exit 289) off I-40. Follow Wade Avenue to Capital Boulevard, and take first right onto Capital Boulevard South (heading into downtown Raleigh). Approximately .3 of a mile on the right, you will see the sign for Peace Street exit. Take the exit and at the bottom of the ramp at the stop sign, take a left onto Peace Street. Pass three traffic lights, and William Peace University is on the left.
From the EAST on Interstate 40:Take Person Street/Hammond Road exit (Exit 299) off I-40. Turn right off the exit ramp, and follow Person Street through downtown Raleigh. Turn left onto Peace Street (Krispy Kreme doughnuts on corner). Pass one traffic light and William Peace University is on the right.
When you turn into the William Peace University main entrance, guest parking is located on the left, adjacent to the front campus green.
